Kefirin Sıçanlarda Oluşturulmuş Siklofosfamid Toksisitesi Üzerine Myeloprotektif Ve Hematoprotektif Etkileri

Aim: Kefir is a probiotic/prebiotic drink with an exotic flavor, which has been traditionally produced fermented milk and kefir grains containing mixture of bacteria yeast. Cyclophosphamide (CPx), are generally limited due to numerous unwanted severe acute toxic side-effects. For this purpose, the cell-protective effects kefir, natural probiotic known for its antitumor antioxidant properties, on CPx-induced hemotoxicity myelotoxicity were investigated. 
 Methods: Group 1 using as control. 2 administered single dose 150mg/kg CPx while 3 5 given 10mg/kg kefir. 4 6 kefir+150mg/kg CPx. While was rats 12 days, single-dose 12th day. Results: The DPPH results show that possesses high activity. It observed leukocytes, thrombocytes, erythrocytes, hemoglobin, hematocrit bone marrow nucleated cell levels decreased in group only CPx, increased relatively groups CPx+kefir, drawing close Conclusion: present study also showed demonstrated cytoprotective activity, protecting blood cells against damage.
